The best length for these small articles would be 150 to 300 words.
Yes, you could make them longer, but I don’t think it will benefit you all that much. The point is to put enough fairly-unique original material for the search engine bots to understand what it is about, and to include 1 to 3 links with anchor text that point to your web page or site.
Your anchor text should be chosen carefully. It should be the keyword (or phrase) that you are trying to rank for.
Adding your post here will bring the search engine spiders to your web pages, and should add some link love to your pages. And we need all the link love we can get, don’t we?

You should have noticed that I asked you to post original, unique content.
I am not asking for great writing here, but I don’t want the stuff you submit to be regurgitated trash that can be found word-for-word elsewhere on the Internet. Do us both a favor and at least change the first and last sentences (or paragraphs), plus add or change a couple of words and phrases throughout. That way the search engines will give your post a higher score.
I will delete any posts that look too spammy! And authors who continue to submit crap will be removed.
